The South Midlands Soaring Association (SMSA) is a club for radio control model glider pilots. The Club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association. The majority of the activities for the club are slope soaring, and silent flight. We fly a large range of models including scale models, fully molded aerobatic models, EPP and built up balsa thermal soarers. 

The principle aim of the club is to provide a safe environment for model glider flying from our flying site at the Burton Dassett Hills Country Park, Warwickshire. We also aim to assist members in improving their standards of building and flying their aircraft. 

We also arrange various social and fun events throughout the year. The SMSA encourages and welcomes new members to the sport and club members are always willing to give help and advice particularly to novice pilots so they can fly their models safely and confidently.
